The Gardener and The Chef - Grounded Festival

At this year’s Grounded Australia Festival, Brae's Chef Dan Hunter and Head Gardener, Jo Lawson were invited to explore one of the most important relationships in food: the connection between the people who grow it and the people who cook it.

The presentation was recorded at GROUNDED Festival 2026, held over two memorable days in April at Yan Yan Gurt West Farm, 10 minutes’ from Brae in Deans Marsh, Victoria, Australia.

GROUNDED Festival is a cross between a farming conference and a food festival, held on a different farm each year. Every festival is unique, celebrating the people, landscapes and food of its host region through an inspiring line-up of speakers, local producers and hands-on learning.
